Farmers Mutual understands these risks as well, and proudly offers dwelling fire insurance for rental dwellings and homes that may not require a homeowner’s policy. Our Dwelling Fire Program provides quality coverage at affordable rates. This program insures under a Basic Form or a Broad Form. Our experienced agents can help you determine which form fits the unique needs of your property. It’s as simple as speaking to your Farmers Mutual agent and explaining what type of coverage you are looking for. |

Optional coverages are available with this program. You can choose to insure your personal property, other structures on the property, or add liability insurance and medical payments coverage. These optional coverages do require an additional premium. Farmers Mutual knows that many dwellings have a woodstove installed, and we gladly insure these dwellings, provided the woodstove meets our guidelines. One and two family dwellings qualify for this program, and hybrid dwellings (a combination of mobile home and a stick built house) qualify as well. However, we do not insure student housing or vacant or unoccupied dwellings. This policy does not cover dwelling maintenance. |
